Waratah Moon

from $37.90

‘Waratah ’
is a print from an original hand painted watercolour illustration from the “Vintage Bloom” collection
comes in 2 versions - Waratah Crescent and Waratah Mountain Full Moon

✨

Tasmanian Waratah - Telopea Truncata, is a weird beauty. Like the moon - the plant also has its unfolding phases. Starting with very faint, soft pinks or faint reds - and finishing with tens of funny little buds, dropping one after another, to then do this process all over again, from November to mid-January. I have been observing the bloom throughout the month on the Organ Pipes track - a wonderful and relatively flat walk on kunanyi (Mt Wellington) - I highly recommend not only for specatular views but also to observe the variety of flora and birds!

  • PAPER: SUSTAINABLE + smooth 250 gsm paper (with a warm, natural, white shade)

  • SIZE: 30 x 30 cm

  • all prints are hand signed by Jessika

    .

    .

    .
Print is unframed. The frame was shown for mockup purposes.
